Jake Hirsch launched his Entertainment Group in 2006 as one of the largest Mixed Martial Arts Management Agencies in North America representing talent in the UFC, Bellator, K-1, World Series of Fighting and Maximum Fighting Championship.

After a chance interview with Yuk Yuk’s founder, Mark Breslin, Jake joined the Yuk Yuk’s family first as their host of the popular, “Yuk Yuk’s Comedy Podcast” and later on as their West Coast Talent Agent,  getting to work with amazing Comedians and putting on live shows throughout Western Canada.

Jake Hirsch is a Talent Manager, Promoter & Producer specializing in live events . He has worked passionately and tirelessly at assembling the best team to work alongside all while bringing world class comedy to numerous communities throughout Canada. Jake recently Produced his first Comedy Special taping in Vancouver.

Jake’s passion continues to be Managing his roster of clients and focusing on an all new Live Events lineups for 2018.

Aaron Nelken, West Coast Agent/Talent Liaison

 Aaron Nelken works as our West Coast agent and talent liaison. He runs the highly successful Pender Harbour show at the Grasshopper Pub on the Sunshine Coast BC and is responsible for developing new corporate and theatre opportunities for clients throughout  BC with a focus on the Sunshine Coast and Vancouver Island.


He also works closely with show sponsors ( brewing companies, local businesses etc) to help market and brand our company to assist performers in covering costs for tours and shows.

Aaron brings to the table over 25 yrs working professionally as an actor/writer for theatre/film/tv. Under the guidance of Jake Hirsch Aaron is making the transition into show promotion and talent management.


With an intimate understanding of the life of a performer, an undying passion for the craft of comedy, and a career in hospitality management, Aaron will focus on ensuring venue operators are accommodating customers and more importantly talent with the respect and appreciation that is much deserved financially and otherwise with the goal of continued successful shows and to create an experience that will put venues on the map as desired destinations for performers and audiences alike.
